Description
Chess Camps introduce chess to new students and deepen understanding for established students. Chess instructors provide lectures, puzzles, and chess guidance. We use a wide range of teaching tools including demonstration boards, computer tutorials, worksheets, stories and historic games. Our chess camp will give your child a great chess experience!
For beginners students (Levels 1-2) we provide a solid basic foundation, emphasizing the fundamental skills needed to begin a lifetime of learning in chess, including:
- Piece and Board set-up
- Algebraic Notation (Chess Language)
- Basic Chess Principles
For intermediate and advance players (Levels 3-4-5). We focus on the following concepts.
- Tactics and Strategy
- Middle Game Planning
- End Game Technique

Advance (Rated 1000-1500)
Monday thru Friday 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Champ (Rated 1500 and Higher)
Monday thru Friday 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Each session will be dedicated to Lessons & Instruction. The online camp Zoom link invite will be emailed to you each Sunday afternoon.
